In collaboration with :digital brainstorming, renowed media and performance artist Paul Granjon will be present at the House of Electronic Arts Basel. His interest in the co-evolution of humans and machines, robots in performance and home manufacturing promises an evening of an artistic absurd robotic-performance.

Workshop build around Ping Melody techniques and strategies: how to scan and capture network traffic, how to change the data flow into sound and image and how to use some ready-made tools developed by artist and published on free license.
The workshop is open for musicians, media artists, programmers (even beginners) and for everybody interesting in creative activities related to technology and sound-art.
Family day with workshops
It roars, squeaks and buzzes in the exhibition space. It this the sound of the city? How does art reflect everyday life in a city? The artists did collect and process sounds, noises, voices and music from cities around the world. IRMAT Workshop: Interface between performer and electronic music
In which direction is the sound artist of the electronic music developing? What will be their tools and instruments, and how will they be able to communicate with the most important electronic sound producer – the computer? The research project IRMAT 2.0 has developed a multi touch screen as an interface between performer and virtual musical instrument to follow up these questions. Using examples on the multi touch screen the workshop will give a deeper insight into the research project.more
Workshop in public space with katrinem: to pause and listen
Within the course of the workshop audio artist katrinem will sensitise the attendants to open their own auditive space of perception as wide as possible. To pause and to listen is to be understood as a manual as to how we walking can consciously sharpen our perception focus for our acoustic surroundings.
