At Oslo Night, the art and culture institutions on Oslostrasse invite you to a festival of the new arts, covering various divisions and presenting exhibitions, performances, workshops, concerts, an interactive photo laboratory, bar and food until midnight, and following party. At Oslo Night, HeK presents the international exhibition format BYOB (Bring Your Own Beamer) for the first time in Basel. For one night, a short and fleeting period of time, artists are invited to appropriate a space from floor to ceiling with their own visions of images and sound.more

Urban Sounds is a series of events and exhibitions that explore the urban space by means its own acoustical, tonal and musical implications. The main focus lies on current tensions of regional cultural identity which has developed over the last century in the trinational region as well as global identity due to internationalization and migration.more
